What I Ate in Austria as a Vegan. | Cornelia
So I have not posted in twenty three days...
I'm sorry!
My life has been crazy for the last month, but I am back and I have some much to talk about.
So I was in Austria for ten days.
What would I say about Austrian food to other vegans?
As most countries the majority of people are meat eaters or vegetarians.
So if you are one of those, you're in luck.
But for me it was a bit hard, it was easier then I anticipated but it wasn't the easiest task when it came to restaurants.
(note that I was living in a rented apartment the entire time).
What I ate in:
Vienna.
So the majority of my meals I bought things from the local stores and made food in my rented apartment.
But when it came to restaurants there is one AMAZING one.
Veggies: Official Webpage
I would rate this restaurants ten out of ten.
It is amazing!
The one that I went to (I think it's the only one) was completely new.
But don't let that scare you away, the food was amazing and the staff was so friendly.
Salzburg.
The Heart of Joy: Official Webpage
This is a vegan and vegetarian restaurants mix.
But they had a lot of different options.
It wasn't has good as Veggies (which is my new bae) but it was a six out of ten.
Gratz.
Veggies: Official Webpage
Yeah in Gratz I went for another Veggies, the staff wasn't has good, but I would rate it nine out of ten.
So yeah this was quick guiede to eating out in Austria. I would recommend renting an apartment for everyday meals. There isn't a lot of easy acesses cafe's or things like that.
But the stores had a lot of vegan options and some places even had amazing vegan ice cream.
So thank you so much for reading and I will see you soon!
